June 25-28, 2015 Participating in the In Your Write Mind: Writing Workshop IYWM 2015. (Seton Hill University, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, 15601). This is a weekend long writing conference/workshop sponsored by Seton Hill University's writing alumni and faculty. Over the three days, there will be writing workshops (I'm teaching one titled Creating Believable Villians), panel discussions, guest speakers, and the chance to pitch your novel to editors and agents. Featured speakers for 2015 include: Claire Eddy, Senior Editor, Tor/Forge Books, Stephen Saffel, Senior Acquisitions Editor, Titan Books, Representative from New Leaf Literary and Media. It's a great conference for writers of all skill levels and genres!

June 26, 2015 Participating in the In Your Write Mind: Mega Super Big Explosive Book Signing at Seton Hill University. (McKenna Hall, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, 15601). 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This is OPEN and FREE to the public - you don't need to be a part of the conference to attend!

September 25-27, 2015 Participating in the Speculative Fiction Southeast Convention 2015. SF:SE. (Sherton Orlando North, 600 North Lake Destiny Road. Maitland, FLorida, 32751, 407-660-9000, If you book through the SF:SE website you'll get a great $65/night deal on the hotel!). Here's what the Conference Director has to say: "SF:SE is a mashup of standard conference/convention styles, with a tagline sentiment of 'not your mother's writers conference'. So, kind of...Writer's Digest on acid, for all illustrators/authors and enthusiasts of Speculative Fiction. A lot of fun, basically." Other authors attending are: Kelley Armstrong, Jacqueline Carey, and Carrie Jones.

October 16-18, 2015 Writer Guest of Honor at Another Anime Con. (Radisson Hotel Manchester, 700 Elm Street, Manchester, New Hampshire, 03101, 603-206-4109). This is from their website: Another Anime Convention is run by people who love Japanese culture especially Japanese animation located at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH. It is a place for fans to gather in New Hampshire for a three day convention to enjoy events, special guest's and other media that celebrate aspects of Japanese culture. While our focus of the convention is Japanese animation, we also expand to other aspects of fandoms such as steampunk, science fiction and internet media. We offer panels, workshop's, anime screenings, a masquerade (skits and performances to show off costumes) a dance, karaoke, game shows, formal dance, AMV room, video games and much more.
