Maria will be at the following events in 2018 and 2019:

The following events are part of the One Book One Community Reads Program.
POISON STUDY was picked as this year's book!

There will be three type of events:

Book Discussion Everyone gets together and discusses POISON STUDY and I'm there to add to the discussion (if my input is wanted ;) and answer questions. There will be spoilers so make sure you've read the book :)

Book Discussion and Poison Tasting Same as the book discussion group except at some point during the chat, I'll teach everyone how to taste for "poisons" which I learned while doing research for POISON STUDY.

Poison Presentation This is a more formal gathering. I'll talk about how I sparked on the idea for POISON STUDY, and how I developed that idea into a novel. I will also host a "poison" tasting for participants, teaching the tasting techniques I learned while doing research for the book. At the end I'll answer questions.

All of these events are FREE and OPEN to the public. Some do require registration so look for the * that will tell you how to register. I will also be happy to sign books you bring along and there will also be books for sale.
