Australian Releases
WELCOME to my Australian and New Zealand Page. My books have been getting some buzz in Australia and New Zealand, and I've been getting a bunch of emails from my Australia readers that I thought it was time they had their very own page. On this page, you'll find the covers of all my books that have been published in Australia and New Zealand, news, upcoming releases, links to purchase books, and any information that I might have regarding me and Australia and New Zealand (see below for the latest :).

NAVIGATING THE STARS (Sentinels of the Galaxy Book 1)

Yes, this is a new science fiction series! It's coming out on November 19, 2018! I really LOVE the main protagonist's voice in this one. Lyra has a new kind of snark and she just refuses to be ignored. Another thing that makes this series different is that her parents are alive and well and have no qualms about meddling in her life. And for my fantasy readers, don't be put off by the "science fiction" tag, while I do have science elements like traveling through space and the time dilation (I did attend a week-long Astronomy workshop at the University of Wyoming to learn all about space), it's still my style--focused on the characters, lots of page-turning action, and a touch of romance.

This series also has Terracotta Warriors like the ones discovered in China. I've always been fascinated with them and was able to see them twice when they were on tour in the US. I thought wouldn't it be cool to write a book where Terracotta Warriors are discovered on other planets. Then that led to the questions: Why are they there and, more importantly, who put them there? The Warriors are the reason the series title is Sentinels of the Galaxy.

Here's the synopsis: Year 2471. A new discovery. Those three words thrill my parents - the galaxy's leading archaeologists - but for me, it means another time jump to a different planet. One so big, my friends will be older than my dad when we arrive. And I'll still be seventeen. Thanks, Einstein.

I really can't blame Einstein, though. No one expected to find life-sized terracotta warriors buried on other planets. So off we go to investigate, traveling through space and time. With my social life in ruins, I fill my days illegally worming into the quantum net - the invention that allows us to travel in space. Of course the only person close to my age is a hot-but-pain-in-the-neck security officer who threatens to throw me into the brig.

But when one of the warrior planets goes silent, we have bigger problems on our hands. The planet's entire population might be dead. And now my worming skills, along with a translation of an ancient alien artefact, might be the key to finding out why. But my attempts to uncover the truth lead to the discovery of a deadly new alien phenomenon, and also alert those who wish to keep it quiet.

I've been getting emails regarding a paperback edition of DAWN STUDY in Australia because the Fan edition is a hardcover and that just bugged them ;) A paperback edition was published on 21 May 2018 and should be available at all online sites and local bookstores.

My Australian publishers have printed a special fan edition of DAWN STUDY. Available now as a hardcover with a special mosaic cover (it looks like the cover, but if you peer closer, you will see it's a mosaic of photos of my readers and me). The edition also includes the short story ICE STUDY for the first time in print. And there is a heartfelt letter from yours truly, giving you a little background on the spark behind the Study series of books. The book will be a limited edition and a paperback edition will be released later this year. To order a copy, check out the links below:

Despite the odds, Yelena and Valek have forged an irrevocable bond--and a family--that transcends borders. Now, when their two homelands stand on the brink of war, they must fight with magic and cunning to thwart an Ixian plot to invade Sitia.

Yelena seeks to break the hold of the insidious Theobroma that destroys a person's resistance to magical persuasion. But the Cartel is determined to keep influential citizens and Sitian diplomats in thrall--and Yelena at bay. With every bounty hunter after her, Yelena is forced to make a dangerous deal.

With might and magic, Valek peels back the layers of betrayal surrounding the Commander. At its rotten core lies a powerful magician...and his latest discovery. The fate of all rests upon two unlikely weapons. One may turn the tide. The other could spell the end of everything.

Austrailan Actor Lachlan Buchanan mentions Study and Glass books! Zap2it blog recently posted an interview with Lachlan Buchanan, who is joining the Pretty Little Liars TV show cast this season. Seems he is a big reader and he mentioned my books! That was so cool to read - and if there is ever a movie of POISON STUDY, I'll be more than happy to return the favor. Here's a link to the post: Zap2it Lachlan Buchanan.
